My Role: Designer, Illustrator, and Brand Director.

Case Study: Kids Edition Visual Branding for The Adventure Challenge

Objective
To create visually appealing, bold, and fun branding for kids aged 6–12 while aligning with The Adventure Challenge’s minimalist brand style.

Challenges

  • Balancing a bold, playful design with the company’s neutral, minimalist branding.

  • Designing for a wide age range (6–12) while appealing to parents.

Design Process

Research & Testing: Conducted market research, ran A/B tests, and sampled materials to find appealing colors and designs.

Simplification: Shifted from a multi-color palette to neon green and white for a clean, functional aesthetic.

Material Choice: Selected a holographic silver cover for eye-catching appeal and balanced fun with professionalism.

Final Design: Created the book cover and interior pages, featuring line-art doodles and a minimalist green-and-white palette.

Outcome

  • Kids and parents praised the product as fun and engaging.

  • The design enhanced the product’s visual appeal, usability, and alignment with The Adventure Challenge branding.

Reflection

This project taught me to balance brand consistency with innovation and sparked my passion for designing kids’ products.
